Description Black and white negative depicting a photograph of the residence of William Sinclair, also known as Glenrath. The house was photographed from the side and there is a large tree in the foreground of the photograph. A fence can be seen in the background at right. Notes The Glenrath farmhouse was built by William Sinclair (1810-1899) about 1861 on lot 18 of the broken front Concession in Whitby Township. The Sinclair farm was acquired by the British government about 1940 for use as the spy training base, Camp X. The farmhouse was destroyed by a fire department training exercise in June 1964.
